How to stop eating when you are full

Do you keep eating even when your stomach is already telling you to stop? I do. It's hard. Evolution has conditioned us not to waste food because we never know when we will get more. Now, in the 24-hour supermarket era, we can get as much food as we want. And we do. Long past the point that it is good for us.

There is an answer, though. Mindful eating. We can use mindfulness techniques to really experience the food we eat. No more scoffing a chocolate bar down without enjoying it. And, as a bonus, we will be more likely to stop eating when full.
